With the rapid development of social economy, the particularity of construction and enterprise production has led to an increase in the potential for leakage of dangerous chemicals and radioactive substances, as well as combustion, explosion, and collapse, and the probability of accidents has also increased accordingly. Once a disaster occurs, firefighters face hazardous environments such as high temperature, darkness, toxicity, and thick smoke. If they rush into the scene without the appropriate equipment, they will not only fail to complete their tasks, but will also increase casualties. The 8.12 fire and explosion accident in Tianjin Binhai New Area is a painful lesson.

As a kind of special robot, firefighting robots play an increasingly important role in firefighting and emergency rescue. With the increasing number of large-scale petrochemical enterprises, tunnels, subways, etc., the potential disasters such as oil and gas, gas leakage and explosion, tunnel and subway collapse are increasing.

This type of disaster has the characteristics of strong suddenness, complex handling process, huge harm, and difficult prevention and control, and has become a stubborn disease. Firefighting robots can replace fire rescue personnel to enter the scene of dangerous disasters such as flammable and explosive, toxic, hypoxic, and dense smoke to collect, process, and feedback data, effectively solving the problems of personal safety and insufficient data information collection faced by firefighters in the above-mentioned places. On-site commanders can make scientific judgments on the disaster situation in a timely manner based on their feedback results, and make correct and reasonable decisions on the work at the disaster accident site.

Our company's COFDM mobile video wireless image transmission system operates at a frequency of 300-800MHz, adopts orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technology, and uses relatively narrow air bandwidth to transmit high-definition video images. The data transmission bandwidth can reach up to 8M, and the resolution of the transmitted high-definition video can reach 1080P. It is very suitable for wireless image transmission applications in this environment.
