The successful application of long-distance wireless transmission in Inner Mongolia's grassland pastures has received high praise from users.
The Inner Mongolia grassland refers to the grassland at the western foothills of the Greater Khingan Mountains, centered around the northern part of Hulunbuir. It is also one of the best natural pastures in China and a tourist attraction. The main area of this large grassland is 866.67 million hectares, of which 681.8 million hectares are effective natural pastures, accounting for 27% of the total grassland area in China. It is the largest grassland and natural pasture in our country.
With the continuous growth of the population and the unreasonable utilization of grassland resources, the ecological environment of grasslands has deteriorated day by day. Due to long-term overgrazing and extensive management, the once low-growing and bare grasslands that were eaten by livestock are now in a degraded state. Through monitoring and conducting comprehensive evaluations of grasslands, including the evaluation of carrying capacity and the degree of grassland degradation. Monitoring the spatial pattern changes of primary grassland productivity and the growth of forage plants, analyzing the reasons for changes in grassland productivity, and assessing the carrying capacity of grasslands. Therefore, dynamic monitoring of grassland resources is the foundation for grassland ecological protection, construction, and rational utilization, and is also a necessity for grassland administrative management.
The agricultural and pastoral bureau of a certain grassland in Inner Mongolia intends to establish a remote grassland video monitoring system to monitor the ecological changes of the grassland, including the growth of grass, rodent infestations and pest infestations. They have entrusted our company's technicians to develop a solution for them. Our technicians, based on the monitoring points provided by the local agricultural and pastoral bureau, formulated a wireless transmission plan. The front-end uses a 6-megapixel high-magnification digital network camera. Due to the long transmission distance (more than 30 kilometers from the front-end monitoring point to the town monitoring point, and there are mountains blocking the way), and the inability to directly transmit to the town monitoring point, a relay transmission method was selected. The farthest wireless transmission exceeded 20 kilometers. After reaching the town monitoring point, the real-time images were transmitted to the city bureau for viewing through the access to a wired network. After the construction and installation were completed, the project was inspected and accepted, and the users were very satisfied with the transmission effect.
