Huizhou - Shenzhen TQ-6502 Series Long-Distance High and Low Point Spacing Tensioning Device

Test report

1. Objective

This test involves the TQ-6502 series individual soldier equipment (quantity: 2 units with 1W power). It is used for demonstration testing for the client's project. In actual application, a 2W power option is also available.


2. Scope

The target readers of this article are recommended to be internal staff members of the company, such as those in R&D, product development, production, and marketing.


3. Test items

TQ-6502 type MESH self-organizing network individual soldier equipment: The center frequency is 1.44 GHz. Select two points, high and low, for long-distance fixed-point testing;


4. Testing Environment

4.1 Test time and location

Test Date: July 3, 2024

High point: Liushi Silver Beach Hotel in Huizhou City (20km pull test shows it is on the 26th floor, with an estimated height of 80m; 30km pull test shows it is on the 31st floor, with an estimated height of 100m).

Low point: Shenzhen Bay Coastal Road. Specific locations selected are 20KM, Paizai, 30KM, Yangmeikeng Lujiao Wharf.


4.2 Testing environment

Thunderstorms with lightning, fog on the sea surface;


4.3 Setting up the testing site

a)The test site for a 20-kilometer distance

Set up the equipment at the high point and the low point respectively. For the 20km test, place the high point at the balcony of the hotel on the 26th floor, and connect the low point with a vehicle-mounted suction cup antenna. The test uses a omnidirectional fiberglass antenna with an antenna gain of 5 dBi.

b)The test site for a 30-kilometer distance

Set up the equipment at the high point and the low point respectively. For the 30km test, place the high point at the rooftop of the hotel on the 31st floor, and connect the low point with a vehicle-mounted suction cup antenna. The test uses a omnidirectional fiberglass antenna with an antenna gain of 5 dBi.

6. Test conclusion

1)The equipment can achieve video transmission over a distance of 30 kilometers. Detailed test parameters can be found in the main text.

2)Throughout the entire testing process, the tests at the 30km mark were conducted under heavy rain conditions, which placed high demands on the equipment's environmental adaptability, and the heavy rain also caused significant rainfall attenuation.

3)The test was conducted using an omnidirectional antenna. Due to the thunderstorm and heavy rain conditions as well as the limitations of the testing time, directional antenna testing was not carried out.

4)If you need high-bandwidth transmission, simply use a device with 2W power and a large-gain antenna.
