With the rapid development of China's maritime industry in recent years, the number of ships used for maritime transportation, law enforcement and patrol has also increased significantly. Therefore, maritime traffic safety is facing extremely severe challenges. To better manage the operation of maritime vessels, the maritime management department must monitor and manage the ships in navigation. However, the ships located in the ocean cannot be connected via wired methods and can only be remotely monitored for each vessel through wireless transmission.

       Recently, a maritime department in Shanghai requested that its vessels implement wireless data transmission. The requirement was that the vessels should be able to view the surveillance images from the island in real time while working at sea, and that there should be a wireless network on board to enable data transmission back to the ship.

       Our company has formulated the following plan based on the customer's requirements. We will use our company's long-distance wireless transmission equipment TQ-5823WJ to transfer the network from the shore to the island. We will install the latest MESH broadband self-organizing network developed by our company on the island for coverage. At the same time, we will set up a MESH self-organizing network device on each ship. This will meet the customer's requirements. After actual installation and testing, the final effect exceeded the customer's expectations. The wireless transmission bandwidth from the shore to the island is 28 kilometers and it should reach 80 Mbps. The MESH self-organizing network device TQ-6502MB was tested while sailing on the ship. Even when it reached 30 kilometers away from the island, it could still transmit a data bandwidth of 8 Mbps. The customer was very satisfied with the transmission effect.
